Hey, the guy is an entrepreneur. You’re going to bust him for renting houses? Well, yes. As reported by cleveland.com:

Danny Heaggans [age 33] illegally gained access to at least four vacant, abandoned or foreclosed homes [on Bedford, Ohio] and installed locks to make it look like he had legitimate access, police said.

Heaggans made repairs and showed the properties to people looking to rent a house, according to police.

What could possibly bring a ninja warrior to tears? Well, if ninjas could cry, the thought of what this man tried to do dressed as a ninja might do it. As reported by myfoxorlando.com:

It was a scary morning for a local woman when, deputies say, a man in a ninja mask attacked her in her own home.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Nick James Nardelli entered the woman’s home through an unlocked door early Monday morning.

A Lisbon woman faces a harassment charge following a Sept. 26 domestic incident, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.

Ruth E. Toomey, 78, Lisbon, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies say the incident occurred at the West Potsdam Bingo Hall.

Indeed, making his food addictive was the goal of a Chinese restauranteur.  As reported by The South China Morning Post:

A noodle shop owner was detained after he was discovered to have been adding parts of a poppy plant – from which opium is made – to food so that customers would keep coming back.

The noodle shop’s owner was held for questioning and confessed that he purchased 2kg of poppy shells (the bud of the plant in which poppy seeds are found) for 600 yuan (HK$756) in August.

Pocket dialing someone can be awkward at worst (or so you thought), at least, that is, if the person on the other end listens. (Admit it – you listen.) What happened to this gent was much worse than awkward. As reported by wkrn.com (Nashville, Tennessee):

Mt. Pleasant police say they arrested a man for drugs after he pocket-dialed 911 and dispatchers heard him talking about getting high and going to a drug dealer’s house.

The next time you are about to bash lawyers, don’t forget about this attorney, who is taking a stand to protect Muslims everywhere from … “Hajer”, a play that was put on at a festival in Kuwait. As reported by The Arab Times.

Attorney Ali Al-Ali filed a case against working crew of the “Hajer” theatrical drama which was presented during the Eid-ul- Fitr festival. Al-Ali accused the director, producer and one of the actors in the theatrical drama, which presented some of the scenes deemed offensive towards one of the huge section of Muslims in Kuwait and in the world in general. [emphasis added]

Wow. That lawyer has a lot of clients.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, deputies met with the victim, the owner of a lawn service business, at a residence in the 6400 block of Thorman Road around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim told deputies he was hired to mow the lawn at the residence and was in the process of doing so, when 71-year-old Patrick Botelho approached him.

You wouldn’t be surprised to hear that the victim of a crime assisted in the apprehension of the perp, would you? But what if the victim was … a reptile? As reported by 7online.com (WABC):

The incident happened around 7 p.m. Monday on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park.

The driver, identified as 22-year-old Sarah Espinosa, of Albany, apparently lost control of her Toyota Prius, crossed the median, struck a Nissan Maxima and careened into the fire station.

Chuck E. Cheese provides all kinds of services – food, entertainment, birthday parties. What they don’t do, though, is babysit. Per The Post and Courier (Charleston, South Carolina):

A woman on Friday dropped four children off at a West Ashley Chuck E. Cheese while she went shopping for an hour and a half, Charleston police alleged in a report.

Meriana Sanusi Martin, 47, of Wildwood Lane in Beaufort, is charged with four counts of cruelty to children in connection with the incident, the report said.
